HOWTO: See Exactly When You (Or Anyone Else) Signed Up For Twitter

By Lauren Dugan at MediaBistro:
Here’s an experiment for you: Go to Twitter.com, and click over to any user’s profile page. Browse around a bit, and try to find the date that they joined. Can’t find it? That’s because it’s not there.
Twitter doesn’t advertise when a user signed up anywhere on the site. But there’s a quick and easy trick to see exactly when anyone signed up for Twitter, and we’ve got it below.

All it takes to see the time and date that someone signed up for Twitter is a little copy and pasting on your part.
Copy the following into your browser, replacing the “username” part of “username.xml” with the actual Twitter handle of the person you want to know more about:
https://twitter.com/users/show/username.xml
See a wall of strange text? That’s good.
From here, use your browser’s “Find” function (or manually scan for it yourself), to locate the “created_at” code.
Once you’ve found that line, it’s a matter of flicking your eyeballs a little to the right and reading when that user signed up for Twitter.
As you can see above, user “@Jack” (which is Jack Dorsey, one of the founders of Twitter), signed up for Twitter on May 21, 2006. His information can be found at “https://twitter.com/users/show/jack.xml”.
