Google+ Hints Further At Games Network, Confirms Social Games Stream

Earlier on Friday we reported on the rumors that Google+ would be launching a games network. The network would allegedly offer faster performance for games and give developers a larger cut of the revenue than Facebook or Apple who both take a 30 percent cut.
Google+ has officially confirmed that there’s going to be a Games stream. However, they may have not intentionally confirmed the stream and there’s still no word on whether or not a games network is actually in the works.

Presumably, the Games stream will post scores from games that are played on Google+’s game network, but there is no official statement that confirms it. The stream was divulged through Google+’s help pages which seemed to have accidentally mentioned the network too soon. The page read, “If you’re looking for updates shared from games, check out your Games stream.” The link to the stream led to a 404 page.
If you look at the same help page now, all mentions of the Games stream have been removed. Curious, isn’t it?
